Here's what's coming next at fleetster
fleetster is continuously evolving. This page transparently shows what's currently being worked on and what's coming next.
How we prioritize our roadmap
Our roadmap isn't created at random – we use a two-part formula to objectively evaluate and prioritize topics.
In the first step, the expected cost and time savings of a feature are calculated. In the second step, this value is weighed against the development effort. Features with high value and low development effort are prioritized – resulting in the final roadmap shown below.

Planned Features
Utilization Analysis
Identify underutilized vehicles and reduce fleet costs through data-driven right-sizing.
Automatic VIN Lookup
Establish complete vehicle master data as a central data source.
Highway Refueling Check
Automatically detect and prevent unauthorized highway refueling.
Fuel Analysis
Create audit-proof fuel and CO₂ reports for CSRD.
Fine OCR
Automate fine processes and reliably meet legal deadlines.
Inspection & Service Deadlines
Automatically manage and document inspection and service deadlines.
Task Management
Centrally prioritize and efficiently handle all fleet tasks.
Predictive Maintenance
Detect maintenance needs early through real-time telemetry.
Leasing Pre-Check
Digitally document vehicle returns and reduce additional costs.
Premium Fuel Check
Automatically flag premium fuel refueling and control fuel costs.
Vehicle Inspections
Flexible inspections and photographic documentation.
Offer Comparison
Digitize vehicle procurement with comparable offers.
In Development
TCO Transparency
Total cost calculations are becoming much clearer: contract data will soon be read automatically via AI, costs are now included in the TCO even without an uploaded invoice, and a new vehicle list shows all costs by vehicle and cost type side by side across locations. Complemented by the new cost-per-kilometer metric and a correct monthly distribution of annual and quarterly invoices.
