Two new permissions have been added to the mobile settings section. These new permissions grant access to the mobile device’s phone and camera in order to improve the app’s usability.

Phone Permission

Granting this permission enhances the usability of the mobile app for companies with the disponent feature. During the booking/key release process, administrators will have direct access to the phone’s calling and SMS services in order contact drivers directly.


Camera Permission

Granting this permission enhances the usability of the mobile app for companies with the damages feature. With camera access, drivers can take photos of damages and upload them directly from within the app. This change will enhance the damage reporting process during key release/return process.

Export damage

We have taken the damages feature a step forward, administrators can now export damages in the form of a CSV file. An export button will be visible in the damages section, clicking the button will display a date/time selection popup where the timeframe for the export is selected. Once the export button on the popup is clicked the exported damages file is emailed to the administrator and also made available in the exports section.

An improvement has been made to the booking behavior for mobile devices. In the settings of the web application, two new sub-settings are available under booking Booking Behaviour. These sub-settings give the administrator the ability to determine the latest booking end date for mobile users. The setting will create an availability window starting from the current day to the duration selected in the setting. For example, selecting the seven-day option will a week-long booking window including the current day. This means users cannot create booking longer than seven days.

  • 30 Days
  • 60 Days
  • No Restriction
